CSInet Internet Access has announced an exciting program providing free high-speed wireless Internet, at T1 speeds, to any school within its coverage area. This new program allows the schools to also receive a monthly recurring revenue stream from CSInet for any faculty, staff, or students who sign up for the Educational Rate Plan offered by CSInet. The faculty and students can then pick which department they would like their proceeds funneled towards. The revenue-sharing program provides for a generous one-time payment to the school, followed by a monthly recurring payment from the CSInet Educational Internet subscriber.

CSInet is also providing three $500 Technology Scholarships for any school who participates in this program. These would be awarded to graduates heading off to college to pursue a technology or engineering career.

This is an absolute win-win situation for the school system and CSInet. CSInet?s President and CEO is a Westville High School graduate as well as a Purdue University graduate who resides in LaPorte. The program allows CSInet a cooperative partnership medium to give back to the community and educational system.
