CSInet Internet Access Corp. is an Internet Service Provider (ISP) who started out supplying local dial-up Internet access to LaPorte Indiana back in 1995, by founder Doug Konieczny, current President and CEO. Doug is a Westville High School graduate as well as a Purdue University graduate who currently resides in LaPorte, Indiana.
CSInet offers customers the ability to sign-up for service or receive technical assistance and support 7 days a week, 365 days a year. CSInet has continued to grow revenues year after year and expect that the Internet and its broadband user base will continue to grow as well. Today, CSInet serves thousands of customers in Northwest Indiana and Southwest Michigan.
CSInet has engineered and deployed a High-Speed Wireless Broadband Internet infrastructure within the Northwest Indiana and Southwestern Michigan regions. CSInet equipment can be found on over 40 telecommunication towers in the region. CSInet’s High-Speed Wireless Internet service rivals cable and DSL broadband service in speed, reliability, security and price. “We are very excited about our High-Speed Wireless Internet offering and have experienced a very rapid growth rate for this service.” – Doug Konieczny, President/CEO
CSInet is also a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) for the state of Indiana. This means that CSInet can sell local telephone service and enhanced dedicated circuits to both business and residential customers.
CSInet has rolled out its VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) phone service. Traditionally, a phone conversation is converted into electronic signals that traverse an elaborate network of switches, in a dedicated circuit that lasts the duration of a call. In Voice over Internet Protocol, a conversation is converted to packets of data that travel over the Internet or private networks, just like e-mails or Web pages, though voice packets get priority status. The packets get reassembled and converted to sound on the other end of the call. It makes long-distance calls less expensive by removing some of the access charges required for use of the public telephone network. A user's physical location also becomes irrelevant; CSInet lets people choose their area code and possess multiple area codes in different cities that all ring to the same phone. VoIP also enables CSInet’s advanced features -- like checking voice mail from Web pages or programming call forwarding through a web tool.
Other CSInet business services include high-speed T1 dedicated lines, website hosting and design, server co-location, and network setup.
CSInet Internet Access Corp. also has a IT Service Department and is a Microsoft OEM Partner, Authorized Nextel Dealer, IBM Business Partner, Cisco Systems Reseller and Intel Premier Provider for the IT Industry.
CSInet continues to grow year after year while upgrading and adding value added services for the end user and consumer. “We are confident that CSInet’s High-Speed Broadband Wireless Internet Service, web hosting, and VoIP phone services will only continue to grow in the up and coming years ahead.” – Doug Konieczny, President/CEO
