Before an installation, CSInet will check to make sure your home
or business can achieve adequate signal to the CSInet transmission towers.
The CSInet technicians will need access to your roof to test for signal
to the tower. If adequate signal is achieved, CSInet technicians will gain
approval from the property owner to install an antenna mount. Once the antenna
mount is installed, CSInet technicians will review the cable run options
with the property owner. They will sight where the cable will enter the
home from the outside as well as review the inside cable and data jack termination
location with the property owner. The site survey technicians will also
take pictures of the antenna mount, where the wire will enter the home from
the outside as well as where the termination will take place on the inside.
If you qualify for the wireless service our technicians will proceed to
do the installation.
There are two installation options for you to choose from: standard or
network. The installation generally takes one to three hours.
Before the installation, you are responsible for ensuring that the digital
transceiver conforms to local building and homes association standards.
If you live in an apartment building, condo, or other multiple-dwelling
unit, you must obtain your landlord's signature on our Multiple-Dwelling
Unit Installation Agreement.
Standard Installation
The installer will place an antenna on the outside of your location (usually
on the roof) and run cable to your computer.
The installer will also set up a special PC wireless network card that
connects in your computer.
The installer will configure your PC for CSInet Wireless Internet service.
Multi-computer Network Installation
More than one computer can be networked and setup to access the Internet.
Additional equipment and labor costs would apply on a per case basis.
